Colin Kaepernick Jesus?

What if Colin Kaepernick was Jesus?
Saving the world,
From mistreatment of his own people,
Because we’re all one,

Just different colors,
Because of the sun,
That’s the only difference,
Scientifically,

Outside that,
Social inequality,
And video cameras taping thee,
Beating and killing of black men repeatedly,

When will this race be free,
Of constant violence,
At least at the ones,
With the bloody hands of the police,

Gee!
Feels like we’re slaves all over again,
Police policing similar to how they did back then,

“The Slave Catcher”,
Posting up on the roads I’m passing,
Reminding me that they’re here,
And control the territory,
For every black man,
Seeing this in the Deep South,
Is scary for ya,

Racism may not be so loud nowadays,
So they say,
But if you’re in the back woods,
In the south,
Still seem loud in that place,
I hug my mother tight every day,
Just in case,
All hell breaks loose,
And my work be the only way I still speak to you,
Welcome to 2018,
Where a black man still, trying to breathe easy too
