My Everything Absent

** the following poem isn't to encourage suicide but to let individuals know that someone can relate to them and feel their pain...my reflection**

Choose to live.

My wife left me,
I’m all alone,
Why oh why,
Have she left,

I’ve done all I can,
To make our house,
A happy home,
Now I’m all alone,
Crying nightly,
Wishing,
You come back home,

I miss my beautiful kids,
And the love we had,
I’m living every day sad,
Dying for my family back,

The house is too quiet,
 I’m not used to it,
Used to hearing our kids,
Run around, making loud noise,
And you there with me,
In my arms,

I feel I can’t get you back,
I need a quick exit,
To alleviate the pain,
Of my missed life,
Only solution I’ve found,
Take my own life,
Twenty-two in my head,
